Água Potável / Potable Water

Boa tarde!!

Essa semana me deparei com um dado que me deixou muito impressionada e eu quis dividir com vocês. Eu sabia que a água potável que temos disponível no planeta era uma minúscula porção de todo o azul que vemos quando pensamos na Terra, mas não tinha noção de quão pequena é essa parte. Apenas 0,77% de toda a água que temos é potável e está disponível para ser consumida. Não, eu não errei ao colocar a vírgula, realmente é menos de 1%!  Esse dado é algo para nos fazer refletir uh? Mesmo que existam métodos para tornar água do mar, por exemplo, em água potável, o processo é muito caro e não é natural, ou seja, não é a mesma coisa... Se no futuro tivermos que consumir somente água transformada, vendida a peso de ouro, você teria condições de comprar?

This week I was chocked with an information I received and I want to share it with you guys. I was aware that the potable water we have available on the planet was a tiny portion of the whole blue we see when we imagine the globe, but I was not aware that the number is so low! Only 0,77% of all the water we have on Earth is potable and available to us. No, that's not a typo, it's really less than 1%! This data is somthing to make us think uh? There are some methods to turn sea water, as an example, into potable water but that's an expensive process and it's not natural, what means that is not the same... If we haf to consume only that kind of water, sold at a high price, would you be able to afford it?
